Description
Canon Rangefinder lenses were developed in the 1950s, before the K35 and FD series, and set new standards in optical performance for their time. TLS has rehoused this vintage set with LPL mounts, opening them up to modern large-format cameras — Alexa 35, RED Raptor, VENICE and C400.
The 50mm Dream Lens
The 50mm f/0.95 (T1.1) is the set’s centrepiece, delivering a shallow depth of field and painterly bokeh prized in cinematic work. Single-layer coatings across the set produce a vintage look with striking, artistic flares, while stopping down slightly sharpens the full frame without losing character.
Build
A 16-blade iris gives smooth, rounded bokeh, with standardised gear positions and a 110mm front diameter for standard matte box and accessory compatibility. Full-frame 36x24mm coverage avoids vignetting, and the LPL mount adapts cleanly across multiple large-format camera systems.
