The Canon CN-E Cinema Prime kit covers seven focal lengths — 14mm T3.1, 20mm T1.5, 24mm T1.5, 35mm T1.3, 50mm T1.3, 85mm T1.3 and 135mm T2.2 — sharing a uniform barrel and focus ring position for fast lens changes.
Design
Every lens shares a 114mm front barrel diameter, simplifying matte box and accessory use across the set. Optimised for video shooters over standard EF stills lenses, the range gives pleasing bokeh, controlled flare and strong sharpness, with a long focus throw for precise manual pulls.
Individual Lenses
The 14mm T3.1 suits available-light cinema and TV work; the 24mm T1.5 covers wide-angle cine shooting; the 35mm T1.3 uses an 11-blade iris for stunning circular bokeh; the 50mm T1.3 shares the same iris design; the 85mm T1.3 gives short-telephoto rendering with a 300° barrel rotation for accurate focus at wide apertures; and the 135mm T2.2 offers a classic medium-telephoto perspective, also with a 300° barrel rotation.
