Description
The Panasonic Lumix G Vario 7-14mm f/4 ASPH is an ultra-wide zoom for Micro Four Thirds cameras, with a 114° angle of view and two aspherical plus four ED elements controlling ghosting and flare.
Optics
Large-diameter, moulded glass elements hold brightness evenly across the zoom range. The lens stays sharp wide open at f/4, with peak performance around f/5.6, and controls barrel distortion well for an ultra-wide, particularly at 14mm. Pairs naturally with the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera, giving a wide-to-moderate range despite its 2.88x crop.
