Description

The Laowa 9mm T5.6 Zero-D VV Cine is an ultra-wide cinema lens designed for full-frame and Vista Vision cameras. Because of its Zero-D design, it keeps lines straight across the frame, making it perfect for architecture, VFX, and virtual production. Therefore, you won’t need to fix distortion in post, saving both time and effort.

Ultra-Wide Field of View

With a 135° angle of view, this lens captures expansive landscapes, tight interiors, and dynamic shots. Moreover, it exaggerates scale for dramatic effect without creating fisheye distortion. As a result, it’s ideal for creative and cinematic visuals.

Compact and Lightweight

Weighing only 350g, the lens is easy to mount on handheld rigs, gimbals, and drones. Consequently, it allows for fast and flexible shooting. Its small size is also perfect for FPV filming or moving setups.

T5.6 Aperture & Focus Control

The constant T5.6 aperture ensures even exposure throughout your shots. In addition, the long focus throw gives precise manual focus, which is essential for clean, sharp imagery. This makes it perfect for professional film production.

Professional Build Quality

The all-metal body provides strength and durability. Furthermore, 0.8 pitch cine gears on both focus and aperture rings work seamlessly with follow-focus systems, allowing smooth operation on set. Thus, it meets the demands of high-end productions.

Full-Sensor Coverage

This lens fully covers full-frame and Vista Vision sensors, including ARRI LF, RED Monstro, and Sony Venice cameras. Also, it avoids vignetting even at the corners, giving a clean, consistent image across the frame.
