Description
The Cooke SP3 Cinema Prime lenses are built for mirrorless cameras, based on the classic Cooke Speed Panchro optical formula. This E-mount set is optically and mechanically optimised for Sony full-frame mirrorless bodies (L-mount available on request).
Build
Tough yet lightweight and compact, the SP3s share aligned focus and iris mechanics across the series for quick lens changes when using matte boxes and FIZ systems. Each lens matches the Cooke Panchro/i Classic series optically, making the SP3 set a natural “B” or “C” camera match — including drone and gimbal work — to complement Panchro/i “A” camera footage.
The Cooke Look
Outstanding definition and resolution are complemented by the classic Cooke fall-off toward the frame edge. Proprietary coatings keep flare controlled, and colour matching across the series delivers the flattering skin tones and character Cooke lenses are known for.
