Optics
ED, fluorite and SR elements control chromatic aberration and colour fringing across the zoom range, with coatings suppressing flare, ghosting and surface reflections for stronger contrast.
Handling
A multi-focus system with two AF drive units gives fast, accurate, quiet focus for stills and video, with full-time manual override. Vibration Reduction stabilises handheld shots, and a top OLED panel shows aperture and focus settings at a glance. An assignable button and a programmable control ring give quick access to exposure adjustments directly from the lens.
Compatibility
Built for FX-format Z-mount bodies, with a 105-300mm equivalent range on DX. Dust and moisture resistant.
