The Formatt Hitech 4×5.65″ HD Graduated ND Soft Edge Filter Kit includes three densities — 0.3, 0.6 and 0.9 — for balancing sky and terrain luminosity, a staple for both fine art photography and cinematography.
Soft Edge Design
The graduated transition sits subtly across the filter, making horizon lines easy to hide even against an uneven skyline — mountains, buildings or trees. Grad filters darken one area while staying clear elsewhere, typically used to hold detail in a bright sky against darker terrain.
