The Rode Blimp is a complete windshield and shock-mount assembly designed for the NTG-2, and fits any third-party shotgun mic under 325mm long.
An adjustable dual-hoop suspension cuts handling noise, while the acoustically transparent dome blocks wind noise without dulling the sound picked up inside. A standard 3/8″ thread attaches directly to boompoles.
