Video Performance
The A7S III records UHD 4K 120p in 10-bit 4:2:2, with fast sensor readout that keeps rolling shutter to a minimum. There’s no recording time limit, and 16-bit raw output is available via the full-size HDMI port. HLG covers direct HDR production, with S-Log2/S-Log3 for advanced grading.
Autofocus and Sensitivity
Real-time Eye AF and intelligent subject tracking hold focus across all recording modes. Sensitivity spans ISO 40-409,600, and 10fps continuous shooting supports up to 1000 consecutive raw frames. 5-axis stabilisation reduces camera shake by up to 5.5 stops.
Build
A rear-articulating LCD and 9.44-million-dot OLED EVF cover monitoring and playback. Dual card slots support CFexpress Type A or SD UHS-II, and the back-illuminated 12.1MP sensor keeps noise low across its full sensitivity range.
