The Canon EOS R6 is a full-frame mirrorless camera built for both photo and video work, with a 20MP sensor, DIGIC X processor and 5-axis in-body stabilisation.
Sensor and Speed
ISO runs 100-102,400 (expandable to 204,800), with continuous shooting up to 12fps mechanical or 20fps silent electronic. Dual Pixel CMOS AF II covers roughly 100% of the frame across 1053 selectable points, with strong subject tracking for people and animals — face, eye and head detection included.
Video
4K UHD recording reaches 60fps, with Full HD up to 120fps for slow motion, both internal at 4:2:2 10-bit with Canon Log and HDR-PQ support. A clean 4K HDMI output feeds external recorders, and Movie Servo AF keeps focus smooth when switching subjects or distance.
Stabilisation and Build
5-axis sensor-shift stabilisation compensates up to 8 stops of shake, working alongside optical IS on RF and adapted EF lenses. A variable-angle 3″ touchscreen, dual SD UHS-II slots, 3.5mm headphone/mic ports and a weather-sealed body round out the design, with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for wireless transfer.
