The 45MP full-frame sensor pairs with a DIGIC X processor for sharp, low-noise images, at ISO 100-51,200 (expandable to 102,400). Dual Pixel CMOS AF II covers nearly the full frame across 1053 points, with Eye/Face/Head detection for people and animals, Movie Servo AF for smooth video tracking, and Touch AF for tap-to-rack-focus.
Video
Internal 8K DCI 30p RAW recording delivers extreme detail, alongside 4K up to 120fps in 4:2:2 10-bit with Canon Log, in All-I or IPB compression. A clean 4K HDMI output up to 60fps supports external recording for high-end commercial and short-film work.
Build
5-axis sensor-shift stabilisation compensates up to 8 stops of movement. A 120fps EVF and vari-angle touchscreen cover monitoring, with dual CFexpress Type B/SD UHS-II card slots for high-speed 8K storage, a weather-sealed body, and 3.5mm headphone/mic ports for audio monitoring.
