Description
The RED Raptor-X 8K VV is a full-frame, global-shutter cinema camera built for productions that need the highest resolution RED offers alongside artefact-free fast motion.
Sensor and Image Quality
The 35.4MP Vista Vision sensor captures 8K resolution with a wide field of view and strong low-light performance. The global shutter eliminates rolling shutter artefacts during fast movement, and HDR support extends colour range and contrast.
Recording and I/O
High-speed options include 8K 17:9 at 120fps, 6K S35 at 198fps, 4K 17:9 at 240fps and 2K 2.4:1 up to 600fps. REDCODE RAW runs in simplified HQ, MQ and LQ options, from 180MB/s in LQ to 360MB/s in HQ. Dual 12G-SDI ports output mirrored or independent feeds, and a USB-C port streams up to 1080p.
