The RED Komodo-X advances its KOMODO digital cinema camera line. The 6K KOMODO-X has faster frame rates and a redesigned S35 sensor. In addition, it has built-in Wi-Fi and a USB-C connector.

While the same size as the original Komodo, the KOMODO-X has a brand new global sensor. Excellent image quality and colour science. In addition, enhanced shadow detail and frame rates up to 80 fps in 6K and up to 120p in 4K.

The KOMODO-X comes with a reinforced, locking Canon RF lens mount. In addition, it has RED’s tooless lens-mount system.

The KOMODO-X’s expanded interface includes:

  • 6K 80fps, or 4K 120p shooting
  • 12G-SDI video output (up to 4K60p).
  • A USB-C port with Ethernet offload capabilities.
  • Built-in Wi-Fi for 1080p IP live streaming for web applications and in-app monitoring.
