Description
The RED MONSTRO 8K VV is RED’s full-frame (Vista Vision) digital cinema camera, with a 40.96 x 21.60mm sensor that fully uses the imaging circle of full-frame 35mm lenses as well as windowed Super 35 lenses.
Sensor and Recording
The 35.4-megapixel sensor shoots up to 60fps at full 8K format (8192 x 4320), or 300fps at 2K 2.4:1 crop, with 17+ stops of dynamic range. Data write speeds reach 300MB/s, recording REDCODE RAW simultaneously with Apple ProRes or Avid DNxHR/HD.
Kit and Mount
The hire kit includes the DSMC2 MONSTRO body with Tilta B1 cage and V-Lock I/O expander, a standard OLPF, a 7″ RED LCD touchscreen, two 480GB RED Mini-Mags with reader, 15mm baseplate and rigging, four V-Lock batteries with charger, power supply, cabling and a hard case.
