The Vespid2 series supports Cooke /i metadata for seamless integration with compatible cinema cameras. This technology records crucial data—such as focal length, aperture, and focus distance—in real time. Therefore, it’s perfect for VFX workflows, virtual production, and shot replication. Metadata is transmitted through mount contacts or LEMO connectors, allowing easy use with wireless lens control systems. Each lens incorporates aspherical elements and advanced coatings to control distortion and maintain image quality during focus pulls. This results in smoother transitions and more cinematic motion capture. The ARRI PL mount provides broad compatibility with professional cine cameras.
