Description
The DZOFilm Catta Ace kit includes the 35-80mm and 70-135mm T2.9 lenses. These are fast, lightweight, EF-Mount cinema zooms. A good combination for documentary, broadcast, or cinema applications.
Both the Catta Ace 35-80mm and 70-135mm maintain focus as you zoom in or out. The Catta line reproduces accurate colour and features a smooth focus/defocus transition. In addition, a wide T2.9 to T22 aperture and 16-blade iris for a smooth bokeh.
True to its cine design, it has a focus rotation of 240°. Also, a 100° zoom rotation range, and a 75° iris rotation range. This EF-mount kit pairs natively with Canon EF cinema and DSLR bodies — the Canon C-series, EOS Cinema and DSLR bodies — with no adapter required, and adapts easily to Sony E-mount or Micro Four Thirds via a passive EF adapter if needed.
