The Cooke mini S4/i kit brings the “Cooke Look” into a lightweight, cost-effective PL-mount set, comprising 25mm, 32mm, 50mm and 75mm lenses that pair naturally with Cooke’s full-size S4/i line.
Optics
The mini S4/i carries over the most desirable features of the full-size S4/i, sacrificing only a single T-stop — an aperture range of T2.8 to T22 keeps it flexible while trading light sensitivity for a smaller, lighter, cheaper lens. Optics control flare, distortion, veiling glare and spherical aberrations wide open, resolving to and beyond 4K.
Compatibility
PL mount fits most professional digital cinema cameras, including the ARRI Alexa Mini, RED Gemini and Canon C300 Mark III. The mini S4/i is interchangeable with the S4/i and 5/i lines, making it a natural lightweight “B” or “C” camera match — well suited to gimbal shots, commercials and run-and-gun filmmaking.
