Description
The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro builds on the standard 6K model with a 5″ tilting touchscreen, built-in ND filters and dual mini-XLR audio inputs, while keeping the same sensor and dynamic range.
Sensor and Recording
The camera records up to 6144×3456 at 50fps on the active Canon EF mount, with electronic iris, autofocus and zoom on compatible lenses. Gen 5 colour science makes it easy to intercut 6K Pro, 6K and BMPCC 4K footage. Recording covers internal CFast 2.0 and SD/UHS-II cards, or external drives via HDMI or USB-C, with Blackmagic RAW capture and a bundled DaVinci Resolve Studio licence.
Controls and Audio
ISO reaches 25,600 with 13 stops of dynamic range, and two mini-XLR inputs with 48V phantom power cover professional audio alongside a 3.5mm stereo input and built-in stereo mic. A multifunction grip supports single-handed operation, and an external timecode generator can sync to the camera’s internal generator for multi-camera shoots.
