The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K packs a Super 35 sensor into a compact body, built for narrative work, branded content, documentaries and commercial shoots that need cinema results without a heavy setup.
Image Quality
The Super 35 sensor records detailed 6K footage with headroom for cropping and stabilising in post, and up to 13 stops of dynamic range preserves highlight and shadow detail in high-contrast scenes. Gen 5 colour science delivers natural skin tones and clean colour separation.
Mount and Recording
Available in PL mount (default) or EF mount — select above — supporting electronic iris, autofocus and zoom control on compatible lenses. The camera records Blackmagic RAW and Apple ProRes to CFast 2.0, SD UHS-II or an external SSD via USB-C, with a built-in timecode generator for multi-camera sync.
Handling
A 5″ tilting touchscreen covers monitoring and menu navigation outdoors, alongside built-in ND filters and dual mini-XLR inputs with phantom power. The body runs on NP-F570 batteries, an optional battery grip, or external power.
