The Sony FE PZ 28-135mm f/4 G OSS is a 4K-ready wide-to-telephoto zoom for full-frame, APS-C and E-mount cameras, with powered zoom control at variable speed and reversible rotation direction.
Motor and Optics
An SSM (Super Sonic wave Motor) drives the zoom precisely and quietly, with focus noise minimised through a lightened focus group and linear motor. Five aspherical and three ED elements, with advanced multi-coating, control distortion and chromatic aberration for sharp, contrasty images, and breathing/axial displacement stay low through the zoom range.
Controls
Independent focus, zoom and iris rings give full manual control, switching to autofocus by sliding the focus ring forward. A constant f/4 aperture holds steady performance at longer focal lengths and in low light, with Optical SteadyShot correcting up to four shutter-speed steps of shake.
