The SmallHD 703 Ultra Bright 7″ Monitor is built for outdoor use. It is extremely bright, so you can see the screen clearly even in direct sunlight. The Full HD 1080p screen also provides sharp detail, which makes it great for focus pulling and on-set monitoring.
Bright Display for Outdoor Work
This monitor features a 2200 cd/m² high-brightness display. Because of this, it stays visible outside and in harsh lighting. It also supports HDR preview, so you can view more detail in highlights and shadows.
Strong and Lightweight Build
The 703 Ultra Bright has a solid aluminium body. It is lightweight, yet strong enough for film production environments. The screen also uses optically bonded Gorilla Glass, which improves clarity and reduces reflections.
Flexible Inputs and Outputs
You can connect cameras using SDI or HDMI. Since it has dual SDI ports, you can view two signals or pass one through to another monitor, switcher, or wireless system. This makes it suitable for both cinema and mirrorless camera workflows.
Easy to Use Interface
The PageBuilder OS makes setup simple. Instead of long menus, you can create custom pages with monitoring tools such as LUTs, waveform, false colour and focus assist. You can also switch between pages quickly using the joystick or assigned buttons.

3D LUT Support: Import LUTs and compare before-and-after looks side by side.
Scopes: Use waveform, vectorscope or histogram to check exposure and colour.
Exposure Tools: False colour and zebra warnings help you set accurate exposure.
Focus Tools: Focus assist and peaking help ensure shots are sharp, especially with high-resolution cameras.
Frame Guides: Add safe areas or guides for 16:9, 4:3, 1.85:1, 2.39:1 or custom framing.
Power Options
You can power the monitor with DV, V-Mount or Gold Mount batteries (sold separately). In addition, the built-in 12V LEMO output can power extra accessories.
