Pickup and Power
A super-cardioid polar pattern with a line-plus-gradient acoustic design narrows pickup at the front while minimising off-axis noise, giving strong intelligibility and signal-to-noise ratio in noisy environments. Power comes from an internal 1.5V AA battery or external 48V phantom power, outputting via a standard 3-pin XLR.
Build
A rugged, all-metal, lightweight housing suits camera mounting while standing up to heavy road use. The mic ships with a stand mount and windscreen.
