Description
The Shure SM58 is the industry-standard vocal microphone for live performance, sound reinforcement and studio recording, with a frequency response tailored for vocals — brightened midrange, rolled-off bass.
Design
A built-in spherical filter cuts wind and breath “pop” noise, and a cardioid pickup pattern isolates the source while minimising background noise. A pneumatic shock-mount reduces handling noise, and rugged construction with a steel mesh grille holds up to rough handling indoors or out. A break-resistant stand adapter, rotating 180°, is included.
