Description
The Rode VideoMicro is a compact on-camera shotgun mic with a cardioid condenser capsule, built for weddings, interviews and run-and-gun filmmaking where a full-size shotgun would be overkill.
An aluminium body gives strong RF rejection, finished in an anti-glare ceramic black coating. The mic draws power directly from the camera’s plug-in power (min. 3V), so no battery is needed. A Lyre shoe-mount cuts handling and cable-borne vibration noise, and the included WS9 furry windshield handles outdoor wind noise.
