Description
The Rode SmartLav+ is a broadcast-grade lavalier microphone for Apple and Android devices, clipping to a shirt or lapel for hands-free recording of speeches, interviews and dictation.
Build
An omnidirectional condenser capsule picks up sound equally from all directions, on a Kevlar-reinforced cable strain-tested to 10kg. A grey-sleeved TRRS connector plugs directly into a phone or tablet headphone jack, working with most audio recording apps. The kit includes a mic clip with cable management, a foam pop shield and a carry pouch.
Compatibility
Works with iPhone 4/4S/5/5C/5S, iPad 2/3/mini/Air, iPod touch (4th/5th gen) and many Android devices. Pair with the SC3 adapter for TRS devices, or the SC6 dual-TRRS adapter to run two SmartLav+ mics from one phone.
