Handling
A Silent Wave Motor gives fast, near-silent autofocus with instant manual override, and Vibration Reduction corrects up to 4.5 stops, with a dedicated Sport Mode for panning and lateral movement. Internal focusing keeps the lens length and weight down, with a 7.2ft minimum focus distance and a rotating tripod collar for balance in either orientation. The electromagnetic aperture mechanism requires a compatible Nikon body.
