The Hollyland Solidcom M1 is a full-duplex wireless intercom system for production teams, supporting up to eight wireless beltpacks with single-ear LEMO headsets from one base station.
Communication
Running on the 1.9GHz DECT spectrum avoids interference from Wi-Fi and other wireless devices. Full-duplex operation lets users speak and listen simultaneously — unlike push-to-talk radios — with noise-cancelling technology and a 200Hz-7kHz frequency range keeping voices clear in loud environments.
Range and Grouping
The base station’s built-in panel antenna reaches up to 1300ft ahead and 160ft behind in open spaces, extending to 985ft of 360-degree coverage with the included external antennas. Beltpacks can be grouped by department — audio, lighting, staging, camera — with up to three independent groups managed from the base station, app or web interface.
Build and Power
Beltpacks arrive pre-paired and ready to use, weighing 7oz each with a durable matte finish. Two removable lithium-ion batteries per beltpack give up to six hours of runtime, recharging in 2.5 hours; the base station runs on PoE or NP-F batteries. The system cascades to support up to 24 active headsets, with 2W XLR, 4W RJ45, PoE/LAN and cascade connections for integration with existing comms setups.
