The Canon RF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM is a compact, versatile wide-to-short-telephoto zoom for Canon’s RF mount, with a constant f/4 aperture and up to 5 stops of image stabilisation.
Stabilisation and Control
Dual Sensing IS covers stills, with 5-axis stabilisation for video, working with an EOS R body for up to 5 stops of correction. Canon’s customisable control ring gives direct access to aperture, shutter speed, ISO or exposure compensation.
Optics and Focus
Air Sphere Coating protects against flare, ghosting and reduced contrast. Nano USM — the first use in an L-series lens — combines fast, accurate ring-type USM for stills with smooth, quiet STM for video, and full-time manual override is available in one-shot AF mode. Built-in Digital Lens Optimiser data improves sharpness and reduces aberration in real time with no speed penalty. A 9-blade rounded aperture, 77mm filter thread and 45cm minimum focus round out the build.
