The Canon C400 is a 6K full-frame cinema camera built for documentaries, commercials, live events and high-end cinema work, with triple-base ISO for a wide exposure range.
Sensor and Recording
The 6K full-frame CMOS sensor gives shallow depth of field, clean highlights and rich shadow detail, recording 12-bit 4:4:4 LT Cinema RAW Lite for colour accuracy through heavy grading. Triple-base ISO at 800, 3200 and 12,800 keeps noise controlled from bright exteriors to dark interiors.
Frame Rates and Media
The C400 supports recording up to 6K60 and UHD 4K120, storing to CFexpress Type-B and SD cards. Canon’s Dual Pixel autofocus tracks subjects through fast-moving scenes.
Connectivity
HDMI and SDI outputs cover monitoring and video village setups, and built-in Wi-Fi supports wireless camera control and file transfer.
