Description
The ARRI Amira puts the ALEXA sensor into a lightweight, ergonomic, production-ready body designed to shoot straight out of the box.
Image and Recording
The camera carries ALEXA’s 14 stops of dynamic range, a native ISO of 800 and an EI range from 160 to 3200. Internal recording covers ProRes up to 4:4:4 in HD and 2K at up to 200fps, to CFast 2.0 cards. White balance, EI and shutter are all adjustable externally, and a motorised internal ND wheel offers 0.6, 1.2 and 2.1 ND stops.
Audio and Mount
Two XLR inputs record two channels of 24-bit 48kHz audio, supporting mic, line, phantom power and AES3. Available in PL mount (default) or EF mount — select above. PL pairs with ARRI/Zeiss Master Primes and other PL-mount cinema glass; EF accepts Canon cinema primes and EF lenses.
