Description
The Aputure Light Storm 300X is a bi-colour LED fixture with a vari-white CCT range of 2700-6500K, from warm tungsten to cool daylight, compatible with the same accessories as the Aputure 300D Mark II, 300D and 120D Mark II.
Output
A colour-blending optical element merges the dual-colour LEDs into a single point source, dimmable flicker-free from a bright key light down to a subtle fill, at CRI 95 / TLCI 98. The Controller Box connects via a 3-metre cable for easy adjustment regardless of light placement, and runs on single or dual V-Mount batteries for remote locations.
Control
Local controls with a bright LCD, a 2.4GHz wireless remote, 5-pin XLR DMX in/out, and the Sidus Link app (via Aputure’s Sidus Mesh network) all adjust output, presets, effects and firmware. Constant Output Mode holds luminance while shifting CCT smoothly mid-scene; Max Output Mode maximises brightness within 4000-5500K.
Mount and Features
A Bowens-S mount accepts a wide range of modifiers. Four dimming curves, five CCT presets (2700-6500K) and nine built-in lighting effects — including Paparazzi, Fireworks, Lightning and Fire — round out the fixture.
