Description
The Qudos Action Waterproof Video Light adds powerful, adjustable illumination to a GoPro or similar action camera, rated to 40 metres underwater.
Output
Three Cree LEDs give up to 400 lumens, across three modes with two brightness levels each:
- Action Spots (wide beam) — 400/225 lumens, 0.7h/1.3h runtime
- Target Spot (narrow beam) — 175/100 lumens, 1.5h/2.8h runtime
- Ambient (ultra-wide beam) — 270/70 lumens, 1.1h/4.3h runtime
Build
Die-cast aluminium construction with a CNC-machined heat sink and optical-grade lens keeps the 150g body durable and easy to mount. Constant current drive technology prevents flicker on camera.
Power and Compatibility
A 3.7V 1000mAh lithium-polymer battery charges via USB, with a status LED showing blue for high brightness and green for low. Fits GoPro HERO through HERO4 directly, with a cold shoe/tripod adapter included for DSLRs, camcorders and other cameras via a GoPro-mount conversion.
