Description
The Tiffen 85 Filter Kit is a colour-conversion set for film cameras, in 4×4″ size compatible with most matte boxes: the 85, 85ND3, 85ND6 and 85ND9.
Filters
- 85 — warms daylight-balanced film to match tungsten lighting, reducing unwanted blue and giving a more flattering skin tone under artificial light.
- 85ND3 — adds a 1-stop neutral density effect alongside the 85 warming, for control over depth of field and motion blur in bright conditions.
- 85ND6 — adds a 2-stop ND effect for brighter conditions, allowing wider apertures or slower shutter speeds while keeping the 85’s colour balance.
- 85ND9 — adds a 3-stop ND effect for the most extreme lighting, giving precise exposure control in strong sunlight.
All four filters are lightweight and durable, built for both outdoor and studio production.
