The Teradek Bolt 4K LT MAX Receiver is a wireless video receiver for adding another viewing position to a Bolt 4K system. It suits shoots where the director, client or focus puller needs a separate feed. However, this hire includes the receiver only, so you’ll need a compatible Bolt 4K transmitter.
Range and latency
The system offers up to 5,000 ft of line-of-sight range in ideal conditions. Real-world range will vary with obstructions and interference, so plan a test before the shoot. Latency sits under 0.001 seconds, which suits focus pulling and live monitoring.
Video outputs
The receiver outputs up to 4Kp30 over HDMI and up to 1080p60 over 3G-SDI. That choice means it can feed most on-set monitors directly. For example, one output could feed a director’s monitor while the other supplies a recorder.
Compatibility
This receiver works with Bolt 4K series transmitters, including the 750, 1500 and MAX. In broadcast mode, one transmitter can also feed an unlimited number of receivers. Older Bolt Pro and XT models aren’t compatible, so check your transmitter before booking.
