Optics
One FLD and three SLD elements (20 elements in 14 groups total) control chromatic aberration for clear, sharp images. A Hyper Sonic Motor gives fast, quiet autofocus, paired with Optical Stabiliser and an accelerometer for improved panning performance.
Handling
A zoom lock switch holds any of eight preset focal lengths, alongside a manual focus override switch. Minimum focus is 110.2″, with a maximum magnification of 1:5. Water- and oil-repellent coating protects the front and rear elements, and the lens ships with a tripod mount and works with Sigma’s Global Vision teleconverters and USB dock (sold separately).
