The Samyang/Rokinon VDSLR Mark II Cine kit brings 24, 35, 50 and 85mm T1.5 lenses together in Canon EF mount, continuing the line’s multilayer coating process and industry-standard geared focus and iris rings.
Optics
A fast T1.5 aperture pairs with a 9-blade iris for soft bokeh, and aspherical elements render sharp images with minimal distortion and chromatic aberration. Weather sealing and dual-side focus scales add versatility for focus pullers, and all lenses cover full-frame sensors.
Handling
Ultra multi-coated glass minimises flare and ghosting, and lenses are colour-matched across the set. Common focus and iris gear positions speed up lens changes with follow-focus units or iris motors. A de-clicked aperture ring supports smooth iris pulls, and a removable petal-shaped lens hood gives flare protection when shooting without a matte box. Minimum focus reaches 9.8″.
