Description
The P&S Technik Evolution 2x KOWA Anamorphics recreate the optical design and front-anamorphic principles of the original KOWA primes in a modern, compact housing with cam-driven focus mechanics — two sets currently in stock, covering 40, 50, 75 and 100mm.
Look and Handling
Low contrast and warm colour carry over from the originals, now with the reliability of modern mechanics that older KOWA sets often lacked. Focus throw covers 200° with a 100° aperture throw, and 0.8 gear rings sit in the same position across the set for quick lens changes.
Build
An 80mm front diameter suits standard matte boxes, and a 77mm filter thread accepts screw-in filters — a practical set for handheld and Steadicam work. More information is available from P&S Technik.
