The OConnor Ultimate 2575E Fluid Head Package is built for cinematographers who need absolute control, stability, and reliability on set. Designed for heavy camera builds, it delivers the precision and smooth movement OConnor is known for. Moreover, this package includes everything you need to set up quickly and work efficiently, even in challenging shooting environments.
Inside the kit, you’ll find the 2575E fluid head, a Euro-style quick release plate, a telescoping pan handle with extension, and both Mitchell and 150mm ball bases with matching tie-downs. As a result, it adapts easily to a wide range of tripod systems, studio configurations, and field conditions.
Ultimate 2575E Fluid Head
The 2575E is engineered to support demanding cinema workflows. It offers a 133 lb (60 kg) payload capacity at a 4-inch centre of gravity. Because of its patented sinusoidal counterbalance system, the head maintains near-perfect balance through the entire tilt range. This makes movement feel natural and controlled, even with heavy lenses and full rig builds.
Furthermore, the head provides stepless, ultrasmooth pan and tilt drag. This gives operators the freedom to execute fast whip pans or slow, precise framing with ease. Four integrated rosettes make it simple to position the pan bar exactly where you need it. Meanwhile, the magnesium housing delivers strength without the weight, and a carbon fibre cover protects the counterbalance mechanism from accidental damage.
Euro-Style Quick Release Platform
The included Euro-style quick release platform supports large cinema rigs. It uses a touch-and-go plate that lets you mount or remove your camera in seconds. The rear locking lever secures the plate firmly, giving you confidence when working with high-value equipment.
Telescoping Pan Handle & Extension
The telescoping pan handle offers flexibility for both right- and left-handed operators. Its 30° bend improves ergonomics and helps maintain a comfortable wrist angle during long shooting days. Additionally, the bottom extension adds length and includes a padded grip for better comfort and stability.
Mitchell Base
The Mitchell base allows you to secure the 2575E to compatible tripods using a standard Mitchell tie-down (sold separately). This expands the head’s compatibility across professional tripod systems.
