The Metabones MBPL-E-BM1 adapts PL-mount cinema lenses to Sony E-mount and Micro Four Thirds cameras, with a purely mechanical mount — no electronic lens control or metadata pass-through.
A removable support foot takes strain off the camera’s E-mount, and chromium-plated brass front and rear contact surfaces resist corrosion while holding tight tolerances and the correct flange focal distance over time. Compatible with Sony E-mount bodies including the A7/A7R/A7S (APS-C capture mode), NEX-FS700/FS100/EA50, and the wider NEX range.
