Description
The GoPro Max 360 enables panoramic photos and immersive 360° videos without needing to physically pan the camera. Using dual opposite-side lenses, the MAX captures everything around you in a full 360° view. It records up to 4992 x 2496 video resolution and 5760 x 2880 still photos, ensuring high clarity. Additionally, stitching is automatic in both photo and video modes, which makes editing and sharing significantly easier. Furthermore, the camera can switch to traditional GoPro HERO-style wide-angle action footage whenever required.
The MAX also supports multiple creative shooting modes. For example, PowerPano mode captures 270° still photos without distortion. Likewise, TimeWarp mode allows you to record in standard HERO mode with variable speed effects, so you can slow down or speed up footage in real time with a single tap. Moreover, the MAX supports the HEVC format, allowing smaller file sizes while still preserving high-quality detail.
For even more flexibility, there are four field-of-view options: Narrow, Linear, Wide, and Max SuperView for extremely wide framing. HyperSmooth stabilisation helps keep footage steady. In addition, horizon levelling maintains balance across both HERO and 360° recording modes.
The GoPro Max 360 also records immersive 360° audio. With six integrated microphones, it captures sound from every direction, resulting in a rich surround-sound experience during playback.
Furthermore, the MAX supports live streaming in 1080p, making it ideal for real-time content sharing. It is also waterproof, which helps protect it during light water shoots, rain or splashes. The touchscreen provides fast, intuitive control. However, when your hands are occupied, the MAX recognises 14 voice commands in more than ten languages. Finally, a USB Type-C port allows quick and efficient file transfers to your computer.
Recording on the MAX requires a Class 10 or UHS-1 microSD card, and it supports storage capacities up to 256GB.
