Description
The GoPro MAX 360 captures immersive 360° video and panoramic stills without panning the camera, using dual opposite-facing lenses to cover the full sphere around it — it also switches to standard GoPro HERO-style wide-angle footage when needed.
Capture and Editing
Spherical video reaches 5K (4992×2496) with 5.7K (5760×2880) stills, automatically stitched in both photo and video modes for simpler editing. PowerPano captures distortion-free 270° stills, and TimeWarp adds variable-speed time-lapse in standard HERO mode. HEVC recording keeps file sizes down without losing detail.
Stabilisation and Audio
Four field-of-view options — Narrow, Linear, Wide and Max SuperView — cover different framing needs, with HyperSmooth stabilisation and horizon levelling across both HERO and 360° modes. Six built-in microphones capture immersive 360° audio for a full surround playback experience.
Build
Waterproof to 4.8m (16ft), with a touchscreen interface and 14-command voice control across ten-plus languages. 1080p live streaming and USB-C file transfer round out the feature set — footage can be reframed from 360° into standard 2D in the GoPro app. Requires a Class 10/UHS-1 microSD card, up to 256GB.
