Sensor and Framing
A new, larger sensor expands the field of view, letting you crop, zoom, switch digital lenses or adjust aspect ratio in post while keeping detail and sharpness. HyperView delivers 8:7 captured footage as a 16:9 wide-angle shot for immersive POV video.
Stabilisation and Night Modes
HyperSmooth 5.0 adds Horizon Lock at 4:3 for stronger stabilisation, and AutoBoost maximises stabilisation with minimal cropping. Night Effects modes cover Star Trails, Light Painting and vehicle light-trail capture. 8-bit or 10-bit colour recording gives smoother gradations for grading.
Connectivity
Wi-Fi upload sends footage straight to the cloud, with GoPro generating a beat-synced highlight video automatically, editable afterward with your own music and effects.
