Description
The DJI Focus Pro Grip is a control handle for the DJI Focus Pro system. It mounts on an RS 3 Pro or RS 4 Pro gimbal, so a solo operator can adjust focus, iris or zoom without letting go. As a result, it suits one-person gimbal work and fast-moving shots.
Controls in your hand
A front dial adjusts the motor, while a mode button and record buttons stay within easy reach. The 1.8-inch touchscreen shows battery level, focus mode and motor position. It also adjusts motor and LiDAR settings, so you can make changes without another device.
Motor and LiDAR setups
The grip needs a DJI Focus Pro Motor to control a lens. With the Focus Pro LiDAR added, it can also provide autofocus on manual lenses. However, this grip connects by cable to the camera and motor. For wireless control, you’ll need the Focus Pro Hand Unit instead.
Power and mounting
A built-in battery runs for about 2.5 hours and recharges over USB-C with PD fast charging. Runtime depends on use, so keep a charger nearby on long days. A built-in NATO clamp and side adapters also let you mount the grip on either side of the gimbal.
