The Blackmagic Web Presenter is a compact device that turns an SDI or HDMI camera signal into a standard USB webcam feed, letting a professional camera stand in for live streaming on Skype, YouTube Live, Facebook Live and similar platforms.
Conversion and I/O
Built-in conversion downscales HD or Ultra HD input to a low-data-rate, high-quality 720p webcam stream. Inputs cover 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0, XLR mic/line and RCA L/R stereo audio, with SDI and HDMI outputs alongside the USB webcam feed.
Included Smart Panel
The kit includes a Blackmagic Teranex Mini Smart Panel, turning the Web Presenter into a two-input production switcher with push-button controls, an LCD screen and a spin knob — useful for switching between an SDI camera and an HDMI computer slideshow with smooth dissolves, while previewing video and monitoring audio on the panel.
