The Blackmagic URSA Cine 12K LF is a large-format 12K cinema camera in a compact, professional body, built for feature films, streaming content, commercials and high-end creative work.
Mount Options
Available in PL mount (default) or EF mount — select above. PL pairs with large-format PL cinema glass; EF accepts Canon cinema primes/zooms and native Canon EF lenses. L-Mount and LPL are available by request.
Resolution and Colour
12K resolution gives significant headroom to crop, stabilise or re-frame shots in post without losing clarity, and the full-frame sensor holds sharp detail and depth-of-field control across the frame. Blackmagic’s colour science delivers natural skin tones and accurate reproduction, with high dynamic range for controlled highlights and shadows.
Recording and Handling
The camera records Blackmagic RAW and ProRes 4444 XQ, with built-in 2, 4 and 6-stop ND filters for quick exposure changes and up to 240fps in 4K for slow motion. Dual CFexpress slots enable continuous recording, and professional connectivity includes SDI outputs and dual XLR audio inputs.
