Description
The ARRI Alura 15.5-45mm T2.8 F Wide-Angle Zoom is a lightweight PL-mount lens covering Super 35 sensors and resolving 4K+, colour matched to ARRI’s wider Alura line including the 30-80mm.
Optics
A T2.8-T22 aperture range holds high resolution and contrast, with multi-layer coating controlling flare, veiling and chromatic aberration, and minimal breathing while focusing. A nine-blade iris gives rounded, natural bokeh, and ARRI’s Lens Data System (LDS) sends focus mapping, tracking and distance data electronically to compatible cameras.
Handling
Focus, zoom and iris barrels use 0.8 MOD gears, compatible with follow-focus units and wireless FIZ controls, with large focus scales on both sides of the barrel.
