Ultra-Bounce Floppy Cutters are square lighting flags for film and photography. Also known as Ultrabounce floppies, they mount on a lightweight metal frame with a pin that fits straight into a grip head. A pipe pocket and touch-fastener loop let the frame hug a C-stand, so it stays put once you set it.
Two Sizes to Choose From
Pick the size that suits your shot:
- 3 x 3′ — compact and quick to reposition. Good for tighter interiors or flagging a single source.
- 4 x 4′ — broader coverage. Good for bouncing a larger source or blocking light across a wider area.
Both sizes use the same frame and mounting hardware, so swapping between them on set is simple.
Reversible Black and White Ultra Bounce Fabric
Each Floppy Cutter is reversible. The white side bounces and diffuses light for a soft, even fill. The black side absorbs it instead — cutting spill, flagging off unwanted light, or shading the lens from flares. Because both sides are built into one frame, you can flip it around mid-setup instead of swapping gear.
Built for Repeated Use on Set
The ultra bounce fabric is stretched taut over a rigid metal frame, so it holds its shape shoot after shoot. It’s lightweight and easy to break down. As a result, it suits fast-moving location work as well as studio setups.
