Description
The Tilta Hydra Alien is a suction-mount car rig for smooth, dramatic shots from a moving vehicle, with modular dovetail plates supporting high or low-angle setups and built-in shock absorption.
Mounting and Stability
Suction cups grip smooth vehicle surfaces securely, with four adjustable dovetail plates for quick repositioning. A shock-absorbing arm with a 90° adapter and damping head minimises vibration, and a set of eight 220g counterweights balance the rig depending on configuration. Ten suction-cup cable clamps keep cabling secured against wind and motion.
Power
A dual V-Mount battery plate with support bracket powers a gimbal like the DJI RS 2 directly from the rig.
