Description
The Metabones Mark IV Canon EF to Sony E-mount adapter lets a Canon EF lens mount on a Sony E-mount body — the A7S and other full-frame Sony cameras included — while keeping full electronic communication for automatic aperture, EXIF data, image stabilisation and autofocus.
The Mark IV keeps the same functionality as the Mark III with an optimised internal structure. Two modes cover different needs: Green mode (default) conserves battery by limiting aperture and stabilisation movement, disabling Auto-Magnify MF Assist and DOF preview; Advanced mode enables the full feature set. Manual lenses with no electrical contacts also work fine on the adapter.
