Description
The Canon XF105 is a compact professional camcorder that carries much of the XF305’s feature set into a smaller, single-sensor body — a practical option for multi-camera and run-and-gun coverage.
Sensor and Recording
A native 1/3″ CMOS sensor records Full HD MPEG-2 4:2:2 at 50Mbps to Compact Flash cards, with relay recording, hot swapping and pre-record support across dual CF slots. The Canon DIGIC DV III processor drives face detection and subject tracking.
Optics and Audio
Optical image stabilisation and a 10x optical zoom cover quick setups without a lens change. Two XLR audio inputs with 48V phantom power sit alongside a built-in stereo microphone and 3.5mm input, recording 16-bit PCM at 48kHz with manual or automatic gain control.
Outputs
HD-SDI output with genlock and SMPTE timecode support multi-camera and 3D productions, alongside HDMI, component, composite and USB 2.0 connections.
