This hybrid lens features a video-friendly Voice Coil Motor (VCM) rear focus system. Combined with Nano USM technology, it offers fast, precise, and near-silent autofocus. Additionally, the dedicated manual iris ring and AF/MF switch provide complete control and allow quick adjustments while shooting.
Superior Optical Design
One ultra-low dispersion (UD) element and two aspherical elements reduce chromatic aberrations. Furthermore, Canon has applied Air Sphere Coating (ASC), Super Spectra Coating (SSC), and Fluorine coatings to minimise flare and ghosting.
